Dear Barack Obama,
Please don’t take away my guns.
I’m a second amendment supporter all the way. I think guns are wonderful things if you use them responsibly. They can protect your family and they can get you dinner if you go hunting. And some of the things you’ve done and said have made me think that you want to take my guns away, and my neighbors guns away. But we’re good people. We obey the law.
I am an American and I support the National Rifle Association, and since you are my elected official, you should be interested in hearing from me. That’s part of your job- listening to me.
Please do not think that I am a stupid man just because I don’t write or speak as pretty as you do. I have wisdom that comes from living in the country.
I respect you as my President, and I thank you for your service to your country.

My roommates play these video games where they shoot people for no good reason. and when they die, they just pop back up again and start killing more. It kinda scares me. My roommates get really upset when they lose too!
they give kids the wrong idea. (and kids the age of eight or ten play these games!!)
I think video games are more dangerous than guns!
Yeah, I don't like those video games. I think they are bad for people. But really having a real gun and learning how to be responsible with it is another thing entirely.
i have no issues with guns, i think they are great, but i do wonder....when did you last go hunting telemoonfa? or to target practice? when did you last shoot a gun?
I hunt about as often as Mitt Romney hunts. Ha ha ha. Mitt Romney sort of claimed he was a big game hunter one time but really he had just shot at a few varmits. But he supports gun rights, and that's the important thing! So even though Mitt and I don't actually go hunting, we support it and we support the second ammendment.
OK, OK, I don't really have a gun, so it's not possible for Obama to takes my guns away, since I don't have any... and it has been years since I've shot one... probably about two years. I've shot rifles and I've shot a handgun, but I've only shot at bottles and paper targets... One time I went in the desert near Thatcher AZ with this crazy guy to shoot at a poster of Osama Bin Laden, but I sat out.
I've never actually been hunting for living creatures, though. But I support hunting in theory. And I like the folks who hunt, for the most part. I just think that the good 'ol boys who like to hunt aren't politically active enough. Hunting folks generally like to live out in the hills and keep to themselves, so if I don't speak for them, who will?
