Well, guess who subjected his own daughter to a beauty contest, and then missed the really really really important cap-and-trade vote just to go support his daughter’s fickle habit?

Jeff Smith supports SB 1070, he’s had a long and successful career in the private sector, and he doesn’t subject his daughters to beauty contests!

The choice facing voters in Arizona's Sixth Congressional District in the August 24 Republican primary between Jeff Flake and Jeff Smith is like the choice between Jacob and Edward in Twilight.
Like that vampire-vs.-werewolf rivalry, the AZ-06 primary is a choice for morons created by a moron.
For Arizona's working families, it means: Do they want the blood sucked out of them by a congressman with the work ethic and compassion of a corpse or to be violently attacked by a dopey werewolfish corporate lackey?
It's twilight for America, no matter who wins.
The real question, of course, is what a member of Congress can do for average people who want the competence both Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson sadly lack as actors.
We can summarize the contest for the AZ-06 Republican primary by substituting the names of the clueless candidates for the wooden actors in a leading movie critic's review:
Jeff Smith seems to have recently escaped from a high school cheerleading squad somewhere while Jeff Flake’s right-wing pouts convey the peevishness of a guy who just lost a Greta Garbo lookalike contest — for the third time in a row! — to his own girlfriend.
Before the bill to extend unemployment benefits for those who have been out of work through no fault of their own even got to the Senate, YOUR Congressman (Jeff Flake) voted to cut unemployment benefits to the thousands of men and women who can't find work.
This vote was not only fiscally irresponsible, but downright wrong!
The Rebecca Schneider for Congress campaign will be staging a protest in front of Jeff Flake's Mesa Office. We will be wearing cardboard barrels, since Mr. Flake doesn't seem to care if his constituents lose their last remaining lifeline and self respect.
Join us on Wednesday, July 21th from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m., 1640 S. Stapley Drive, Mesa 85204.
Come dressed in grungy T-shirt and shorts. Barrels will be provided on site.
Come out and support Rebecca and make a statement against selfish Republicans and their horrible votes on unemployment.
Rebecca is staging her second run against Flake, the first time she garnered 33% of the vote I believe and it would be wonderful to have a librarian instead of a lazy liar in office for once.
If you are in District 6 in AZ Rebecca well also be having a house party this month. Rodney Glassman and other big names in the AZ political world should be there.
