Making the World a Better Place :)

Dear Readers,

Every once in a while I notice grammatical errors in published stuff, and I usually ignore it, but I finally decided to do something about it. I chose to make the world a better place. I took action. I wrote an email to Wells Fargo. Here it is:

Dear Wells Fargo,

I noticed a grammatical error on your website when I was looking at my credit card account online. It says:

"Your account is current, no payment is due."

That's a run-on sentence.

It should either be, "Your account is current. No payment is due." or, "Your account is current; no payment is due."

Thought you might like to know. Thanks for being a wonderful bank! :)

Sincerely, Telemoonfa

And I got a reply! They sent me this very thoughtful, personalized response:
