Dear Readers,
I think I believe in leprechauns.
Yeah, I think I really do. Why not, you know? Why not believe in leprechauns? What does it hurt? Who does it hurt? How can me believing in leprechauns possibly do anybody any harm?
In fact, I was just on a thoughtful walk today, (that’s my special way of thinking deeply- taking a thoughtful walk) and I’m pretty sure that there was a leprechaun behind a tree. I went to the other side of the tree, but nothing was there- just the other side of the tree!
But I think one of them was there. I sensed his presence, maybe. They can disappear, you know. Leprechauns are tricky. One second they’re there and one second they’re gone! They teleport back to their invisible castle in Ireland.
I could have been sensing something else, but… I got it fixed in my mind that it was a leprechaun.
Oh… but now I have doubts. Now that I’m here in my apartment, sitting at the computer, I don’t know if leprechauns are real after all. There’s no proof either way.
From my experience, leprechauns are inaccessible, like Bigfoot, UFOs, chupacabras, faeries, and giant monster squids that eat ships whole. I’ve never seen any of those things, but I know other people claimed to have seen them or heard them or seen signs of them.
What does it matter anyway? I might as well believe in leprechauns. Nothing changes, whether or not I believe in them. I don’t behave any differently.
But I do believe in ghosts. That’s for sure.
Sincerely,
Telemoonfa
