How do I feel about my feelings?

How do I feel about my feelings?
“Peachy,” I answer you,
and you and you and you,
and you too.

“Everything is…
chipper!”

Chipper, like children-
Bright-colored children,
children that expand and laugh-

Chipper, like bees going
buzz buzz buzz buzz buzz
buzz buzz buzz buzz buzz
(Yes, that’s how much they buzz:
Ten times! Now eleven!
The buzzing never stops.)

“I’m feeling chipper because
it’s nighttime and the sun is shining,”
I tell you all,
“and that’s how I feel about my feelings.”

In case you don’t get it,
(and, mark me, I am very much concerned
that you do get it) the sun is shining in Outer Space.
Because it just does hydrogen fusion all the time,

and Outer Space is where the wigglies dwell.
