I stand by JD Hayworth

Dear Readers,

Maybe you've heard about JD Hayworth's infomercial appearance. There was a lot of stuff in the media about it.

Well, I'm still a JD Hayworth supporter, and I'll still be voting for him on August 24th.

Is JD Hayworth perfect? Of course not. I don't think that he should have done that infomercial. I think it was an unwise choice.

But remember that JD Hayworth is a broadcaster by trade. He was paid to be in the infomercial. It was a job. He was the spokesman for a lot of different products and companies on his radio show. This infomercial was just one of the many things he helped advertise.

Even though being on the infomercial was a bit sketchy, it was still a real job, and it was legal, and he took his paycheck and went home.

I think we should focus more on the issues and more on the records of the two candidates.

Funny how the JD Hayworth infomercial has recieved a good amount of media exposure, but here are two things that aren't getting hardly any media exposure:

1] John McCain won't debate JD Hayworth.

John McCain actually went to a fundraising event for his Arizona campaign in Washington D.C. on a night when he could have been debating J.D. Hayworth.

2] McCain's # 1 political contributor, Scott Rothstein, is spending 50 years in prison for a bunch of ponzi scheme stuff. Rothstein gave McCain 1.1 million dollars! Shouldn't that be a big story? Shouldn't that be all over the media? Hayworth has called on McCain to make retribution by returning the funds, and he's also asked McCain to at least talk about it. But McCain won't even talk about it to anyone! All McCain does is attack JD Hayworth in TV commercials (much worse than he attacked Obama) and blab on and on about fighting earmarks and building "the dang fence."

It's like all of a sudden we're supposed to believe that John McCain is a small- government conservative when he voted for the bailouts, and remember MCain-Feingold? The Supreme Court ruled it unconstitutional recently, thank goodness. But now Congress is trying to get McCain-Feingold version 2.0 installed into our elections.

Arrrggghhh!!!

Vote JD Hayworth!

Sincerely,
Telemoonfa

I copied and pasted this from an email I got from JD Hayworth today:

STATEMENT FROM HAYWORTH ON NATIONAL GRANTS CONFERENCES

Phoenix, AZ (JUNE 24) - "I should not have made the ad. It was a mistake.

"I believed, as did former Congressman J.C.Watts, this to be a reputable firm, but I did not completely check out the organization.

"As a former broadcaster, I would often make ads for clients, but I regret my association with this firm. In fact, I demanded that they immediately cease and desist all use of my name and image when it was brought to my attention that they were violating the conditions of our original agreement.

"I hope voters will look past a video presentation made three years ago and instead look at the issues confronting us in 2010.

"For 28 long years, John McCain has been in Washington pursuing his own political glory at the expense of Arizona. He has violated the public trust by relying on misleading paid political ads, consorting with criminals, trying to impose amnesty, lying about his record and flip-flopping on every important issue. He has not been held accountable until now. And he does not like it, so he is willing to say or do anything for his own personal gain."

If you are so upset that a debate was not scheduled...how are you feeling now that the dates are solidified? McCain has a job, McCain owes JD nothing. Why on earth should McCain have to arrange his life and priorities around JD? He shouldn't! JD has created a terrible reputation for himself...all by himself. JD has not made an ethical or integrity reputation for himself. Instead, JD continues to lie and make up stories, even history to suit his own ego. JD will never be a man of morals...

Can you turn the other leaf and tell us why JD would be a mistake for Arizona. I could think of a hundred reasons why JD would be a disaster for Arizona and for this Nation. JD needs to get out of politics before he makes Republicans look even worse then he already has. JD is embarrassing and dumb and has not figured out that history is not made up of what he wants it to say but rather of facts.
