Wow! Are you serious? That's exciting Telemoonfa. I'm sure we'll talk soon.

Except he didn't use my blog codename, Telemoonfa- he used my real name- my actual real-life identity! so... to keep my mild-mannered non-blogging self safe from public scrutiny, I decided to delete the comment.
And here's my reply to the comment: Yes, I'm serious about quitting the Master's in General English studies program at NAU and starting my high school teaching career this upcoming fall. My wife and I are looking to buy a house, if we can get aprooved for a loan, in the Phoenix metropolitan area, or maybe somewhere else in Arizona. NAU and Flagstaff have been good to me, but now it feels like it's time to move on.
"Telemoonfa" doesn't really mean anything. It's a cool-sounding word I made up, and it's my blogging alias.
Even though "telemoonfa" does not have a clear meaning, it does have a neat origin, which is as follows: I had an algebra class in high school a long time ago, and I remember one of the word problems in our textbook said something like, "Moonfa and Roger whizzed off to Jupiter." Moonfa was going such and such a speed and Roger was going such and such a speed... and you had to figure out who got to Jupiter first. You know the type of problem.
But what's important here is not what speed they were going or who got there first, but the really really important thing is that the guy's name is Moonfa. That's a weird name. But I liked it then, and I like it now.
Moonfa.
Ha ha ha.
The point is, I liked the sound of Moonfa. And the prefix "tele" is great because it sounds like the future. I put "tele" and "moonfa" together and I got "telemoonfa."

Oh wait, you also said "or maybe somewhere else in Arizona." I'll hold out hope for that.
